I don't watch tv and I appreciate it when DUers alert me to something I should see. It was inspiring and joyful to look back at the "first" women, with Doris Kearns Goodwin adding her insights. Shirley Chisholm and Geraldine Ferraro should not be lost to history; they both brought much to the national stage that we can learn from today. I watched the Ferraro/Bush debate at the time and thought that she delivered a tutorial for women in all walks of life dealing with male chauvinism. Shirley Chisholm remains in a class unto herself!
