"Hillary will be graded on a curve."

Can anyone here imagine the sh*t storm that would result if ANYONE dared to say that the first female Presidential candidate should be graded on a curve????

But its accepted by almost everyone in the media that Trump is absolutely going to be graded on a curve.

Stunning.

Here's a thought for our media ... if one of the Presidential candidates needs to be "graded on a curve" ... there is nothing more to discuss ... the election should be declared over, immediately.

I think I'll skip the live debate and watch football tonight.

And hopefully by tomorrow, some one will have created the Trump Debate #1 "Lie-O-Meter" counting each of the many lies he will tell tonight ON SCREEN. That I could watch.

3. Who really decides who won by listening to the media's "grades"?

Those days are past.

People decide for themselves, and 75% of them decide before they ever tune in.

and yes, sadly, the undecided are going to make up their minds on minutiae, including media spin.

This is not about what the idiots in the media will say AFTER the debate.

This is about what the idiots in the media are saying BEFORE the debate.

And what they are saying is that Trump is so stupid, he'll need to be graded on a curve. Poor stupid Donald.

As for whether "the people" turn out to be stupid, and not notice this, is still to be determined.

9. If they actually said that he's so stupid he needs to be graded on a curve, that is good.

It doesn't matter who anyone declares the winner. Viewers now have the mind set that Trump is stupid. They have helped even though they were trying to sabotage.

The fact that a major candidate for POTUS would need to be "graded on a curve" says alot about our country ... and none of what it says is good

They go with their gut, make up their minds quickly and hold to first impressions doggedly, in most cases in spite of anything to the contrary. Stereotypical Americans are all too real though...it is not a back-handed slap as much as a cover-your-eyes cringe.

We have become a nation of obedient morons. The things that Carlin warned about a decade ago...just smart enough to push the buttons and run the machines, but just dumb enough to fail to recognize who is holding the giant rod being rammed up our collective ass.

If Donald Trump actually comes across as erudite and cogent following this circus sideshow tonight, I think the world would faint, but none of that matters....in fact, I don't know why anyone would tune into post-debate coverage for anything more than an ego boost for their chosen side as it will have as much substance as a Twinkie.

Does anyone believe that Fox News is going to say ANYTHING other than "it was a great night for Trump"? Really? ANYONE?
Does anyone believe that CNN will do anything except scream the Gospel of False Equivalency?
Does anyone believe that MSNBC will do anything less than allow their coverage to be dominated by Schmidt, Wallace and that asshole Hewitt?

That worthless lump of shit Hannity is going to be coming in his pants as soon as the first question is asked, and I guarantee their "analysis" is going to focus on appearance, posture, body language, imaginary things that Hillary does that PROVE she is dying and unable to serve (just like Obama was a Kenyan born, Malaysian educated Muslim infiltrator with a time machine and pliant accomplices in Hawaii).

I could start writing the copy for their on-air "talent" right now...hell, I bet 90% of it IS ALREADY IN THE CAN!

... "this is going to be the most watched political event ever" ... "maybe as big as the Super Bowl!!!"

And that in the end is all they care about.

They'll give Trump a pass so long as we watch.

I'm not watching tonight. I'll be watching football.
