America is not a business

In the preamble to The Constitution, one of the plans for the U.S. Government is "promote the general welfare".

In business, your plan is to make money for yourself, your investors, and your stockholders.

I am SO tired of people suggesting we run the American government like a business. It's not Constitutional.
