According to wikipedia, he's also on the ballot in Colo, Minn, Utah, Idaho, S Carolina.

(15,286 posts)Bill Kristol was on MSNBC yesterday and was asked who he was going to vote for since he hates Trump. He responded "McMullin" since Kristol lives in VA. I thought I also heard Kristol imply he would otherwise would have voted for "the party", i.e. GOP.
McMullin should appeal to the large Mormon populations of Utah, Idaho and Colorado and get the votes that might have gone to Trump.
But it's hard to tell if McMullin voters would have voted for Clinton, skipped the vote for president or just stayed home and not voted. I'd guess McMullin voters will vote for down ballot Rs.
