Donald's campaign jumps the rails, asks: show of hands if they're christian conservative

Trump jokes: 'Raise your hand if you're not a Christian conservative'

Council Bluffs, Iowa (CNN) Donald Trump, touting the support he's received from evangelicals in this battleground state, called on his supporters at a rally here to identify themselves as "Christian conservatives."
Then, he asked those who aren't to raise their hands and jokingly questioned whether he should "keep them in the room."

"Raise your hand, Christian conservatives everybody," Trump said, drawing a smattering of cheers and raised arms.
And then, he added: "Raise your hand if you're not a Christian conservative, I want to see this, right. That's -- oh, there's a couple, but that's all right. I think we'll keep them right? Should we keep them in the room, yes? I think so."

Alienating his own audience again. He must be on drugs or suffering from some illness. Definitely has his game face on. Looks troubled.

I'd be a little worried if someone were to single me out in a room full of religious people of which I am not. The next words out of his mouth could determine whether I'm harmed or not. Not sure if exposing some of his supporters to his whims is something of an outreach. I'd take it as a warning. I certainly would not appear out of place with the majority at any of his future rallies. That, to me, would be a bad idea.

Positively frightening in my book.

I can't imagine what he thought he was doing. I heard this earlier and thought about what messages he might be trying to send and decided it was not fathomable.
