Just jogged around my affluent Phoenix neighborhood. Not a single sign is up, not even for the groper. Now, let me be real. I've been afraid to put one up because apparently I'm petrified about my conservative neighbors who will all tut tut. I'm also afraid of Larry the Cable guy turfing my nicely sprouting winter lawn.

However, (cue patriotic music) if I can't support the best debater in modern presidential election history, the most qualified person perhaps ever to run, and the first woman major party nominee, then what the hell do I stand for?

But reading into it further the study said, "The professors concluded that the lawn signs they planted boosted vote share by 1.7 percent in the precinct where the sign was placed".

In Arizona it's going to be tight, and 1.7% sounds good enough for me. Whatever, I don't care about the Joneses. They picked Trump. F them.

I realize my call to yard sign action will probably not start a movement. I know there are many fellow wusses out there who just aren't ready for this. But dammit, it's time to do the political equivalent of stripping down and streaking the quad. Who wants to plant some big blue and white signs???? Anyone?

1. My Hillary sign has been out

In deep red rural southern Illinois. Its the only one on my road. I was a bit apprehensive of rednecks fucking with my stuff when I'm not here like you. But I'm glad to let people know where I stand, I just hope maybe a republican mom or two drives by and is en-heartened to know they aren't alone in a sea of assholes.

absentee. I, too am surrounded by a lot of rednecks. But saw some Trump signs up so decided Hillary needed her own. Besides, I am tired of being the silent majority. And I am proud of Hillary.

6. I'm sorry but I don't do yard signs. We have some very vindictive people here in Ga. and

I'm not willing to risk someone keying my car, spraying my house, or whatever other crime they might think up. EVERYBODY in my neighborhood is a PUB, and there are even a few real righties so my sign wouldn't do anything buy put me into a mess.

As part of a salvation, my husband & I did already vote for Hillary & the only two Dems on the ballot. Most of the Pub idiots ran unopposed.

9. I live in one of those kind of areas in rural PA. The only signs here with the name

Hillary are 'Hillary for prison" signs. I make sure Democrats are represented by working the polls on election days. Unfortunately, the few Dems that do vote are outnumbered about 50 to 1 and we never have anyone local to vote for.

11. Pa. is a funny State. I grew up in a suburb of Pgh. Only moved when I was 48 yo so

I still tell people I'm from Pa. Pgh, & Philly have always been pretty Dem, but that big rural section of the center has always been the exact opposite. My husband's family is from Center County, near Penn State. I only visited a few times, but I felt like I was in another Country! Everyone was so different than anyone I knew. They were very nice, but their ideas were really odd to me. I know what you mean by being out numbered, and I wouldn't put out a Hillary sign up either.

One thing that saves my nerves a little bit is that my husband said "Those people don't vote anyway. Don't worry about them." I don't know if it's still like that though because that was a number of years ago.

13. I too grew up in a suburb of Pgh and hubby and I moved north when the 7th

baby arrived. We wanted to raise them in the country. Close enough to go to a Steeler game or museum but far enough to live with chickens and ducks etc. It is like night and day. Being first generation alien, I have found that most of my real friends are fellow aliens. The others are nice but everybody either knows or are related either by blood or marriage. They do vote though. And they think they are Christian because they go to church. On election day, between voters, I hear who is running around with who and who has a drinking problem and who got a divorce and why. All the stuff I don't have time for on a normal day.

related to each other. There were about 15 houses on that mountain and nobody else lived closer than maybe 5 miles. They used to say it was THEIR MOUNTAIN. When we were first married my husband wanted to move there. Even though I was young and still starey eyed I told him I just couldn't do that. It was just too far away from civilization.

15. I've seen no lawn signs

for either candidate where I live, Maryland's Eastern Shore. While Maryland is, technically, a Blue state it wouldn't be if not for Montgomery, Prince Georges counties and the Baltimore metro areas. The rest of the state is a lot of red. My "Rep." is teabagger Andy Harris. I'd love to see his ass voted out. He is the one that tried to quash DC's cannabis vote. He is really anti cannabis, medical or otherwise. So much for "smaller" govt!

as well. Cambridge to be exact. I've seen plenty of lawn signs and the majority of those are Trump. I have noticed more Clinton signs popping up though. I was surprised when I drove down a street running parallel to mine and counted 7 Clinton signs within three blocks.
