-snip-
After President Obama spoke at a Clinton rally in Ohio on Tuesday and called on men to ask themselves why they might take issue with a female president, Moore echoed the Presidents important words.
Obama asked men to question their discomfort, suggesting that negative feelings specifically over a female in a leadership role shouldnt come down to the fact that theyre just not used to it.
Moore joined MSNBC anchor Chris Hayes on Tuesday night to speak about the Presidents remarks. When considering why men are so opposed to Clinton due to their sexism, Moore said, Its the muscle memory of 10,000 years thats in our DNA where weve run the show forever.
Next Tuesday possibly, hopefully, a woman is going to lead the most powerful country on earth, Moore says. In other words, the 10,000 year reign is over.
Hayes responded that Moore might be oversimplifying the situation when it comes to gender, but Moore shot back quickly. Lets just be honest with men of our own gender here, he said, laughing, Guys have got about a week to wrap their heads around the fact that Hillary Clinton is going to be President of the United States.

(543 posts)I think Moore is highly aware that he once predicted a Trump victory. He's hedging his bets now.
WordsFromOurSponsor
(2 posts)When he predicted a Trump victory was that he was doing it to try to keep a fire lit under the Democrats, not that he truly believed Trump would win. So I don't see this as hedging bets, but I'm sure after the election he will level with us right?

(1,810 posts)It is the reaction most very outspoken people get around here. Overall, he is liked very much around here. Give it some time and you will see things more clear.
Not sure what you comment has to do with the op. It is a comment about Duers only.
