we're seeing this all across the board in swing states with heavy latino populations. black voters are also starting to pick up the pace a bit. if dems win florida, north carolina, and nevada, it makes it easier to survive a surprise or two that may occur with the blue firewall.

Latinos are 25 to 38% of the population in those states, but many of the polls have only about 5% or less Latinos polled. I.E. poll has 800 respondents, but less than 5% are Latino.

Many voting Latinos prefer the polling questionnaires in Spanish, and if they are in English only, they just refuse to take part.

Thus, the pollsters vastly under sample Latinos.

previously, its effect was significant but diluted; Republicans could count on a substantial share (esp. in Florida)
now, there is no doubt which way it will go, and it won't be to tRump

i think the polls are vastly understating Hillary's margins; when it's all said and done, i'd be surprised if she wins by less than 8% nationally

Although I believe most Central and South American Latinos will vote for HRC, there is still a large segment of the Cuban population in Florida who will never vote Dem.

I know anecdotal evidence is useless, but my Cuban friends who live in Florida are posting a lot of anti-Trump stuff on FB. They know what a dictator can do to a country, and they seem intent on not having one take over the USA.

....Latino's of Puerto Rican, Mexican, Central American, and South American heritage who are overwhelmingly voting for Hillary. Don't forget, Cubans are a fast decreasing percentage of Florida's Latinos. Plus, even many Cubans who normally vote Republican cannot bring themselves to vote for a guy with such a negative attitude toward Latinos.

as well as Bay of Pigs and most recently Obama's decision to start opening doors. The younger generation are more hopeful, but I live in the Keys amongst a very large Cuban community, and believe me, young Cuban males are the most outspoken in their support of Trump.

The thing is, Latino voters used to break 50/50 for Dems and Reps about a decade ago. But Reps have been DRIVING them into the Democratic party as hard as they can since then. Racist Mofos did it to themselves. And they want to whine about how Dems are somehow "rigging" the vote when they just have crap ideas and bad social skills.
