What Comey SHOULD have done if rogue FBI agents were threatening him to leak info

He should have come out and simply said something like this:

"It has come to my attention that some FBI agents may intend to leak misleading information about one of the presidential candidates in order to influence the election in favor of the other party. I am asking the Dept. of Justice to assign a special prosecutor to investigate this report so that any agent leaking information outside of the bureau can be brought to justice. Again, any leaks that come out of about either candidate from supposed FBI sources should NOT be taken at face value and anyone responsible for spreading misinformation to influence this election will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Word for word! That would have taken care of EVERYTHING, and made all this crap null and void. But Comey played along, and he's just as putrid as those who threatened him. He may have had guts during the Gonzalez/Ashcroft affair, but he's got none now.

7. You expect too much. That's what a leader or director would do. Comey's sword fall was intentional

It was his act, an act of desperation to save perhaps GOP senate seats and hopefully more.

He is a traitor, putting politics about country and in so doing, aligning with foreign interests who want to weaken America (Kremlin).

Guiliani, that is there were no rogue agents until Guiliani ordered it, and Comey was a mouthpiece only, not the one in charge.

Considering the way the tRump campaign has functioned throughout, why would they leave something like this to chance?

Along with our corrupt media, they kept the fake email scandal afloat like volleyball players and this was to be the slam dunk finale.

Just a nagging thought that won't go away. I suppose the investigation will ferret out the truth.

He has not come forward to correct those who have, as predicted, deliberately lied about and misrepresented the emails.

He has just dropped of the radar to watch the damage.

"Anyone responsible for spreading disinformation.... Will be prosecuted..." Has anyone heard of 1st amendment freedom of expression. Can you prosecute someone from spreading a rumour. Come on people, our president just stood up for the 1st amendment. We can refute what is said with truth. Remember the shoe can be on the other foot, with our freedom of speech being prosecutable.

Any FBI agent caught leaking information to directly influence the election in violation of Hatch act. Your previous post made it look like the regular people couldn't rumor monger. Also what was of issue was what was sources? Sources close to investigation... Which Is why that as whole Brett Beir got into trouble.
