NOW, the media (MSNBC) are acting as though Clinton is winning in a landslide

and they knew it all along???? They're talking about what Trump will do on Weds. to deal.

I personally do not believe that the events of this weekend will radically change the votes of people who haven't yet voted and much as I would like to see a landslide, do not think the poll numbers currently support this, but would happily be wrong on Tuesday night.

Excuse me, but didn't this same group of people (with a few key exceptions) talk for weeks (or months) about how the gaps in the polls are closing, it's a toss up, etc., etc.? They have been irresponsibly promoting a horse race, giving Trump free coverage without fact checking, etc., rather than informing the public about the truth.

Have they been winking at us all this time, knowing that they would at the 11th hour, so to speak, change course?

They are now into the "rewrite history" mode preparing to slap themselves on the back because they called this election correctly.

It would surprise me if the results are otherwise.

Trump doesn't even have the votes McCain had, so how could he win?

The American people have been emotionally abused by the media.

you'll get troll results. I never see anything as you describe since I don't watch Tweety, Morning Joe, Mitchell or any of the other trolls there. And it IS true that her lead dropped by 3% and is bouncing back now, BEFORE the Comey news - they have reason to feel more optimistic - and so do you and I.

and expect more tomorrow...

But the question was / is "Is it a landslide that flips the Senate (and possibly even the House)?"

What the Comey letter did was make this less likely... and that was the intent.

The media went along with it because they got the eyeballs to watch the fireworks resulting and dangled the possibility that Trump would win because of it.

But you bet they knew all along that the vast majority of people are repulsed by the Orange Cheeto.

They even report the early voting as if all republican and democratic ballots are for Trump or Clinton respectively... Which was never the truth... at least 20% of republicans are voting against Trump. Maybe more... not so with the Democrats.

have been watching MSNBC tonight. Rachel was on the panel but so were 3 or 4 others and I can't recall who exactly said what--maybe the show will be re-run. But someone said that Trump has really enjoyed speaking to crowds that support him and that it's really going to be hard for him to wake up Wed. and realize it's all over, etc. Others chimed in with similar sentiments.

They keep saying that these are the two candidates with the lowest approval.

They aren't MSNBC reporters or anything.

I fully expect (and pray to God...) Hillary will win on Tuesday. But I don't think it's going to be some crazy blow out.

Though I'll be happy as hell to be wrong!

Are there really people who weren't going to vote for Clinton but now are going to vote for Clinton because of today's announcement?

I suppose it may boost turnout, but it's hard to believe today's announcement would have a significant effect.

I'd be thrilled with 350+ electoral votes.
