CNN’s Chris Cuomo grills squirming Trump advisor on tax records: ‘You have any proof of an audit?’

CNN’s Chris Cuomo grilled Donald Trump’s communications director on transparency after he called on Hillary Clinton to release all her emails.

Jason Miller, the Trump advisor, said he did not accept the FBI’s explanation that newly discovered emails were actually duplicates of Clinton messages already examined by investigators. “No, don’t accept it — they should release all the emails, let us have a look before Election Day,” Miller said. “We think that would be the smart thing to do.”

Cuomo, the host of “New Day,” accused the Trump campaign of hypocrisy. “You love transparency when it’s not you guys,” Cuomo said. “You don’t see any irony in that?”

Cuomo called on Trump to release his emails — which have not been hacked and then dumped online by WikiLeaks — or his tax records, and Miller said he would do that as soon as an IRS audit was completed.

“You think anybody believes the audit thing going to the polls tomorrow?” Cuomo said. “You have any proof of an audit?”

they should have had countdown clocks, and should have been demanding the audit letter from day one.

watch this morning it seems CNN has finally mostly given up the "horserace" nonsense they've been pulling all season but msnbc is still begging for eyes. I will be watching cnn later today and tomorrow night (until they call the race, then I'll be switching to fox because I'm not a perfect person).

He stays after guests with follow-up after follow-up when they try to evade answering his questions. He's approaching the Joy Reid/Rachel Maddow/Lawrence O'Donnell level. Anderson Cooper gets there sometimes too, as does Tamron Hall.

I've had so much disgust for the media, it's a good thing I don't live in the US right now. If I had to watch tv there, I would lose my mind.

asking if Trump could produce proof that he was being audited or records of his charitable giving.

Conway get really bent out of shape and asked Camerota if she was accusing Trump of lying about the audit.
