In yesterday's NASCAR race, Trump/Pence sponsored a vehicle in the race - #55.



Uh, that is a Toyota Camry. Why didn't you sponsor an American Car?? He's such a hypocritical a-hole!

But the Camry is one of if not the highest US content cars, assembled in the US with 75% US parts content.

Just remember this is mass produced volume cars. I'm sure there are plenty of boutique operations hand-building higher %, but even then it's tricky to get close to 100. We have tire companies in the US, but not much in the way of rubber plantations. Does the conversion or the raw material matter? (There are competing answers, even in GAAP)
