Roland Martin 10:32 am central on Tamara Hall

One early voting location in large black area in NC !!!

Update for perspective: There are over 1 million population in heavly minority places with one early voting location... that shouldn't be.

But fuckin M$M isn't reporting the voter suppression shit just that "black votes are down" what the fuck !!!!

Donald tRump kisses Putin, the FBI and some other fucker in the mouth and the M$M doesn't report that .. jus some shit about fuckin emails !!!

Pissed, I've been keeping up with this election like its been crack and didn't know about the single voting places in these area's

I think someone posted the other day that there's been more reporting on emails than all issues COMBINED !!!

fuck the M$M this go round, they've been beyond disappointing no doubt

Update 2: Looks like a DU'r is on top of it and has a good handle on how things are moving in these areas, See post 22

Don't like thousands of people waiting to vote but it looks like things are moving at a stead pace

and still

Fuck the M$M

This is not a big problem or a conspiracy. In large counties the voting locations are
such that they can handle thousands and thousands of voters. And they have been
open for a long time too. In OH they close at 5:00 PM today but if you are in line before
5:00 PM you will be able to vote and your vote will be counted.

And you can always go and vote @ your local precinct tomorrow.

... this link says it was only one hour that's still too long and the quip below was columbus

http://statenews.org/post/thousands-line-cast-their-ballots-final-weekend-day-person-early-voting

The line stretched down the length of a strip mall and twirled around a giant parking lot. And although thousands of people showed up on the final weekend day of early voting the average wait time was only one hour.

the last two sundays have been "souls to the polls" day when African American Churches
bus and car pool their people to early voting locations. The important thing is that
nobody is leaving those lines.

We have lots of problems but these early voting places are not one of them.

Even though the lines are long we have very few walk aways from the line.
One reason is that people voting on the weekends do not have to leave the
polls in order to get to work.

The Franklin Co BOE is in an old Kohl's store. While the parking is mostly adequate, the differential between counties is stark---Cuyahoga has 1,256,000 people vs Vinton County with 13,000.
Dems fought this in court, but....

Oh, and Franklin Co has 1,252,000 people for reference.

especially if a person is disabled, doesn't own a car or has to pay for transportation. Or doesn't have the time to take a day off work- travel/wait to vote/travel home. Republicans always want to suppress the vote.

levels and midterms we get our arses handed to us at so many levels by the Rethug RW. They dominate governorships, state houses, and US House delgations, so they gerrymander and pull tens of thousands of micro and macro shenanigans. We have huge cities who are checked thusly at state level . Plus the small populated states, which are mostly hard red, have huge oversway nationally.

In Texas the state republicans didn't allow early vote on last weekend, early vote ended last Friday.

At least we had several locations to early vote per Tx county's of Harris and Fort Bend. My location had plenty, about 12 booths set-up and there wasn't a wait at 10 am although the lines were very, very long by lunchtime.

Republicans LOCAL- don't want to make it easy for the regular Americans to vote or register to vote in America.

Mon Nov 7, 2016, 12:56 PM

His polling place was in a typical suburban strip mall with tons of parking and very easy access. There were 3 whole people voting when he got there and a dozen poll workers to help him with the new voting machine instructions. The machines have some kind of dials, and my brother is 74. That being said, I'm sure the voting process on the West and South sides of Ft. Worth was much, much harder for black and brown folks.

I wont even go through all the other shit that happened in between (but think Jim Crow, dogs, poll taxes, literacy tests, lynchings, etc). Now the White Right is so much more sophisticated at keeping our voices and votes down. And telling people to just email or e vote (is that even allowed???) is pure white privilege rationale. So is voting by mail as many do not have a steady place to live (white homeless too). Dont even get me going on that fucking plonker news reporter holding a pair of fucking handcuffs on live telly!!!!

BARRIERS always BARRIERS!!!!

Fucking makes me rage.

Mon Nov 7, 2016, 12:54 PM

It's the only way to change this.

Of course it's voter suppression, the assholes don't even try to hide it. If only the people that show up to vote for President would show up to vote for local and State offices this practice could be ended.
