Killer Mike campaigned hard for Bernie Sanders during the primaries, and he’s criticized both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, saying that a vote for either candidate is “the same thing.” On Friday, the rapper wrote a note on Instagram urging black voters to “stay the fuck home” and not vote unless politicians promise to create jobs, decriminalize marijuana, federally prosecute trigger-happy police, and more. “Don’t remain a patsy and pet simply doing what you are told,” the caption of the post reads. “Get something for your vote or stop complaining and accept your role as a second class citizen once and for all.”
