#NeverTrump Republicans’ closing pitch

By Jennifer Rubin November 7 at 3:15 PM

Not all #NeverTrump Republicans will vote for Hillary Clinton. However, some will, in large part to signal to their own party that it cannot expect blind party loyalty. Their higher obligation is to the welfare of the country.

R4C16.org, one of the most active anti-Trump Republican groups, has a final closing message featuring some respected Republicans. It is an extraordinary, unprecedented repudiation of a party’s nominee:

In a campaign with so little to cheer about, they should be commended for their intellectual and moral integrity.

is fruit from the same poisoned tree. Mainline conservatism is based on bigotry in order to sustain itself.

With that said, we do need a viable opposition party and even though I don't think they have much of a chance of taking their party back, I do respect that they chose the republic over blind partisanship.

I honestly think we're going to witness the fall of the Republican Party over the next few years and the rise of a far right crazy person's party, and a Party to the Left of current Democrats (not communist or anything crazy but a good bit Left of where we are).
