2008 had the magic of 1992, the entire election was something I wouldn't mind reliving.

After all of our hard work we were elated, exhausted, and too excited to sleep.

I remember it just like it was yesterday. Me and my family PARTIED that night. Then we wake up the next day to find our Obama sign stolen from our front yard.

People marched from all around the city and coverged on downtown.

But, what I remember most was the bus ride home from the polling place the campaign put me at, and two young African American men asking me, did I really think he was going to win? By then, returns were already coming in strong, and I told them, yes, he was going to win. Will never forget the looks on their faces though I could never know or understand what was going on in their minds. It was clear to me that it hit them at that moment, and just being a spectator to it was worth the months of campaigning to me.
