"On Monday night in New Hampshire, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump claimed that legendary Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had phoned him earlier in the day and told him that he had voted for him.
This raised some eyebrows because Brady had told a local sports talk radio show that he hadnt voted yet on Monday morning, and he wouldnt reveal whom be planned to vote for.
Now USA Todays PatriotsWire blog has noticed that Tom Bradys wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, has denied that she and her husband are going to be voting for Trump today.
In chatting with some of her fans on Instagram this past Friday, one fan asked her if the rumors were true that she and Tom were going to vote for Trump."

(135,425 posts)I think Gisele has better sense.
His so-called endorsement is going over like a lead balloon in Beantown.

(2,573 posts)Brady or that coach Belicheck (spelling) ....it sounded like it was written by him because one of the first words in this letter was tremendous. I came in at the tail end. Did anybody see this?

(14,689 posts)We see that even Trump's own daughter is distancing herself from Trump. I have no doubt that Brady does support Trump, but doesn't want to confirm it in fear of backlash.

(44,173 posts)I'm sure Brady's agent told him that a public endorsement would be poison for his off field earnings in liberal Massachusetts.

(135,425 posts)It was the stupidest thing he could have done. He scraped a big chunk of his patina off, and replaced it with a giant schmear of shit.
He probably DID write some sort of letter.
He might not have expected Trump to make it public.
I remember he had one of those idiot red hats in his locker.
Management of the Pats likes Trump; I think the rank and file don't, though.

(8,729 posts)I think he's a racist and now it seems that his coach is. Now it seems that he supports a racist republican. His coach is now in that area. Trumpf read a letter of support from the coach of the team Brady plays for. Says a lot about them. Supporting a racist, bigot, and fascist.
That makes them, what they support.

(135,425 posts)That would account for this "playing without a helmet" letter he ostensibly wrote.
