Lessee: African American Michael Steele, who chaired the Republican party when it took control

of Congress in 2010 - was out as soon as was possible. But lily white Priebus, who chaired the party during a most humiliating defeat was re-elected.

Yes, I do put it in terms of race. What other explanation can it be?

Still, he was the chair when they had something to crow about.

Just as they say that the expansion of the 90s would have happened regardless of who was in the White House, or even now. But the fact is that it was Clinton then and Obama now. Had any R been in the White House, they would have claimed credit.

Same thing for Herman Cain. The guy has been super-duper quiet as of late. Has he been chosen for any GOP jobs that I don't know about?
This isn't a very good showing for a party that claims to want to garner more black votes in the future. All this does is give people the impression that they only use minorities as some type of racism shield until they have served their purpose.
I don't care what Michael Steele did in his private life--he was infinitely more competent at his job and less of an embarrassment to his party than Rinse Penis would ever be.

Wow talk about selling out...does he not care that one of the major political parties could care less about the plight of his race?

9. The longer Michael Steele is on MSNBC, the more moderate old-school Republican he sounds

He's okay. He probably regrets having been used as a front-office token minority, but he'll never say that. He still believes the GOP can be redeemed, but he does articulate how they have got to stop being the party of stupid if they are going to survive.

At least this is my take from what he says.

the man made a darn fine salary doing it, and whatever status he has to be on MSNBC, and pick up that easy paycheck, comes from being the RNC chair.

He may only half believe their bullshit, but he makes a darn fine, and easy living spewing it.

He isn't as mean as the Hannities and Coulters, but he knows the score.

bullshit is a tool of the oppressor and an enemy of mine. Michael Steele is a self hating negro who deserves the ridicule Obama gave him.
