Walter Jones (R-NC) says that Dick Cheney is going to HELL

I don't agree with Jones on much, but if there is a hell then Jones is surely right:

Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC) told a Libertarian conference over the weekend that former Vice President Dick Cheney would probably end up in hell for the Iraq War, the Huffington Post reports.

Said Jones: "Congress will not hold anyone to blame. Lyndon Johnson's probably rotting in hell right now because of the Vietnam War, and he probably needs to move over for Dick Cheney."

In 2003, when conservative Americans were so pissed off at France for opposing going to war with Iraq, Jones is the one who launched the campaign to rename french fries as freedom fries.

At least he had the decency to later admit there was no justification for going to war in Iraq. That's something that's sorely lacking in today's Republican Party.

.... I recently saw Germans in America on PBS and during WWI, many places renamed Sauerkraut to "Freedom Cabbage" for the same reason.

I bet that saved us from a whole lot of insurrection.

I'm glad he has some remorse over the war, but he didn't just swallow the bullshit, he dove into it. I don't think he's considered how many other piles of excrement he dove into since he came to congress as part of he Gingrich-Limbaugh "revolution" of 1994.

Virtually anybody who still supports the GOP nowadays is going to that fiery place down under. Whether it's opposing socialized health care, war-mongering, creating fake outrage about the opposition, race-baiting, homophobia, or refusing to pay more in taxes to help your country out, the GOP's agenda is incompatible with the teachings of Christ.
