PPP: Voters trust Clinton over GOP on Benghazi

PPP's newest national poll finds that Republicans aren't getting much traction with their focus on Benghazi over the last week. Voters trust Hillary Clinton over Congressional Republicans on the issue of Benghazi by a 49/39 margin and Clinton's +8 net favorability rating at 52/44 is identical to what it was on our last national poll in late March. Meanwhile Congressional Republicans remain very unpopular with a 36/57 favorability rating.

Voters think Congress should be more focused on other major issues right now rather than Benghazi. By a 56/38 margin they say passing a comprehensive immigration reform bill is more important than continuing to focus on Benghazi, and by a 52/43 spread they think passing a bill requiring background checks for all gun sales should be a higher priority.

While voters overall may think Congress' focus should be elsewhere there's no doubt about how mad Republicans are about Benghazi. 41% say they consider this to be the biggest political scandal in American history to only 43% who disagree with that sentiment. Only 10% of Democrats and 20% of independents share that feeling. Republicans think by a 74/19 margin than Benghazi is a worse political scandal than Watergate, by a 74/12 margin that it's worse than Teapot Dome, and by a 70/20 margin that it's worse than Iran Contra.

One interesting thing about the voters who think Benghazi is the biggest political scandal in American history is that 39% of them don't actually know where it is. 10% think it's in Egypt, 9% in Iran, 6% in Cuba, 5% in Syria, 4% in Iraq, and 1% each in North Korea and Liberia with 4% not willing to venture a guess.

and for the continuation of President Obama's agenda forever.

The genius of Barack Obama was proven on day one.
The day he saw far into the future, and named Hillary Rodham Clinton his SOS

To expand what he said was one of the main reasons of his platform

to make his angle of things forever. And make the old wall of 8 years, totally obsolete.

President Obama and Hillary Clinton, together are the village it takes to render the extremists in both parties 100% OBSOLETE.

United they stand in positives
divided they would have fallen. in negatives.

And its a beautiful thing to see.(except for the very minute minority of haters).

Keep this up and come 2014 Obama voters will be motivated to vote. This helps keep Iowa, and Michigan open seats In Democratic
hands. If SUan Collins In Maine were to vote to remove Obama from office this could finally wake up voters about her.

Come 2016 Republican senators elected In 2010 have to run for reelection In States Obama won-NH,Ohio,PA,Wisconsin,Illinois(Kirk could be finished If he votes to remove Obama from office since this Is Obama's home state) they would gurante attack ads against them.

The anti Obama people are eating up Bengzari. As a white Dem In Missouri I have relatives who are cheering for hope of Impeachment.

The republicans real hope Is this hurts Hillary's 2016 campagin. We all know she Is running despite Bill Clinton's dismal of speculation.

The 51 percent of american people who voted to relect Obama and contunue to most approve of his job don't share the Bengzari
obsession. They are more concerned about further improving the economy, doing something to stop all the gun violence,Immigration
reform, staying out of middle east wars-not going to war In Syria like Mccain and his croonies want and contuning to pull out of afghanstain.Even If all of the 47 percent who voted for Romney share the Bengzari obsession. They are the minority of country as voting
proved In 2012.Of course till they turn off Fox news and stop believe some of these racist antiobama emails they will continue to have their heads In the sand.

The more republicans keep up with this the more Hilary's 2016 election becomes more likely.Imagine what would have happened If Bill Clinton could have run again after the impeachment. He would have won easily
