Am I crazy?

Weren’t there some liberal groups audited by the IRS?
When Rove asked Plouffe for some Liberal Groups audited by the IRS couldn’t he have named a few..

When the fuck will the Dems. ever be able to handle a republican on MSM correctly? Shut their “Gersh Gallop Technique” off with a smack down.. “Excuse me Karl you are dead wrong and please don’t interrupt me when I’m talking, seems to be a habit with you, Karl"..

And also they need to control the moderator ( that little shit, who once stood for something) who seem always
to favor right wing idiots..

I saw the same clip earlier today from This Week. The two articles that made me feel better are 1) The article about Rove being the person who kept telling Romney he was going to win, and of course was wrong; 2) The article about Obama's internal numbers versus Gallup and just how far skewed Gallup was to the actual numbers.

And yes, you are crazy. Joint the club.

Plouffe was correct. Liberal groups were also targeted by the IRS. Bloomberg reported that the IRS sent the same letter to Democrats that they sent to tea partiers. The IRS did something to the liberal group Emerge America that they never did to the conservatives. They revoked their tax exempt status.

In early 2011, the IRS denied the tax-exempt status of an affiliate of the San Francisco-based Emerge America, which trains Democratic women to run for office. The agency said it was disqualified because the group’s activities were “conducted primarily for the benefit of a political party and a private group of individuals, rather than the community as a whole.”

The decision was a surprise because four of Emerge America’s affiliates and its main headquarters already had been approved as nonprofits.

The tax agency on Oct. 21, 2011, revoked those approvals. The national organization and its state affiliates are now incorporated under Section 527 of the tax code.

“We didn’t even get the opportunity to answer questions,” said Karen Middleton, president of Emerge America. “We would have welcomed the opportunity to respond to a questionnaire.”

Emerge America, a group which helps Democratic women seeking elected office, said it lost it tax-exempt status last October. The IRS invoked the "private benefit doctrine" barring 501(c)(4) status for any group promoting a candidate or political party. The IRS announced its final decision in May.

In June the IRS said it denied 501(c)(4) tax-exemption for an unnamed political group also under the private benefit doctrine. The IRS is barred by law from disclosing the group's
name and the group has not publicly identified itself.

The group had one objective: to serve the political goals of its founder, the IRS said. A 501(c)(4) group can spend some funds on political advocacy, but electioneering cannot be its sole reason for existence or comprise a majority of its spending.

I read frequently that the Gish Gallop was the debating style of choice used by the republicans..
Romney’s first debate especially..

So obvious how to prevent... first lie, stop opponent dead in his tracks and not let debate continue until
lie is debunked or fully understood by audience..My opinion only...

I only found your posts. I didn't find a single definition. I then re-typed it, instead of using cut and paste, and saw "Gish", so I wondered if that was it, or if it was something else all together. So I learned a new phrase, thanks for that. Of course, given you were able to find it, I am guessing it will be spelled correctly now.
