Time to go nuclear, Harry Reid! Republicans appear to be blocking Mel Watt as head of FHFA!

Watching C-Span 2 to see if there are any more Republicans who will not block Watt's nomination. Heard Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio vote Yes.

Vice President Biden is presiding. Reid indicates there will be another cloture vote for Rep. Mel Watts to be the head of FHFA.

The Republicans are truly despicable!

Now they are holding the cloture for the Patricia Millett's nomination for the D.C. Circuit. The Republicans vowed today to block all nominees to the D.C. Court and, unbelievably, called filling the three vacancies to said court-packing! Totally outrageous!!!
