Tonight, millions of Republicans are happy, while millions more are sweating bullets!!!

The kook wing of the Republican party are delirious tonight with Newt's win, while others like Susan Molinari, Peter King and their minions are scared to death of what could happen if Newt were to somehow pull off a huge upset and actually get the nomination.

Don't think it'll happen, but it's nice to know the civil war in Republican land will continue for a while.

Ive not noticed the Republicans to be especially picky about their candidates as long as they are willing to say "no taxes, government bad".

Why would they fear Newt? Seems like the main Repub worry about newt would be "in any remotely sane world, he would lose terribly"

and then continued on to support McCain, even with Palin.

I just don't see them(any nationwide elected republican) as the types to care how much destruction their quest for power causes.

Nor do people have access to good education. And maybe religion has a tad to do with some of it.

Although, to be fair to the reality, on top of the many misinformed and the religiously misinformed, I think there are also a fair number of plan ol jerks on the republican side, voting Hate and bigotry, pure and simple.

Anger is used as a defense mechanism, most times. Start a fight first so that you get your words or punches in before they do. Or simple defense against opposing viewpoints. If it's in their personality, then it's something ingrained in them.

Or you're simply born like Lord Voldemort...

Teh ppl wanted something different.

If Obama hadn't won by 15%, we wouldn't have had the 2% "win".
