years I know better then to think that they would actually elect anybody that was a moderate. I grew up in Maine where things were so much more sane then here. Politics here are so sad.

Lankford is probably even more extreme then Inhofe if you can believe it. And there are a lot more wacked out Republicans here.

State Rep. Sally Kern who thinks that gays are more dangerous to this country then the Taliban. She might even be wackier then Inhofe and Lankford. A while back we had an issue on book segregation at the public library. She tried to pass legislation that, if certain books were not segregated, public libraries would lose their public funding. I don't think that there is a bigoted, discriminatory idea that she would not support.
