Wolf wins PA primary. Will now bite the other Tom, aka TeaBag TomCorbett, in the political ass.:-) (Original Post) RBInMaine May 2014 OP
In PA, we prefer the term One-Term Tom PADemD May 2014 #1
We're trying like hell to take down Paul T. Party LePage here in Maine. He and Corbett are asshole RBInMaine May 2014 #2
Good luck. PADemD May 2014 #3
Governor Gasshole needs to go, and it sounds like even the R's are sick of him, poll wise anyway. nt Mnemosyne May 2014 #4

Ah, it actually was pretty good. Not stellar, but not bad. Short and fairly sweet. Not too bad. RBInMaine May 2014 #7

buddies and have appeared together at right wing panel discussions. We have a great candidate in Mike Michaud, and as long as we don't get screwed up by the Indy also running, we'll say bye bye to LePage here.

You PA folks need to show the whole country how to dismantle a 2010 TeaBagger. I hope Wolf hits the ground tomorrow and starts pounding the living crap out of that A-hole Corbett.

Hope you succeed with getting rid of LePage.

Corbett isn't the only teabagger in PA we need to replace. My state rep is one, and he ran unopposed.

Sounded like was totally unprepared. Started off with "Today I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the Earth." Little uncomfortable considering the circumstances under which that was originally said.

Also driving into the stadium in his jeep reminded me of Scott Brown and his truck. It's awkward.

But he's miles better than Corbett so let's get to work.

It wasn't the most polished short speech, but it is okay to be a bit spontaneous and unpolished at times. It appears genuine and real, and I think he came across that way. And remember, the guy is EXHAUSTED. They always are at the end of a campaign. I don't think he did anything wrong invoking the homage to Lou Gehrig's famous words because he was just being humble and said he was very thankful and lucky for having come this far in the campaign and in life. He thanked the voters and his supporters.

He could have been a bit more pointed in his attack contrast with Corbett, but he DID attack him as a guy who has spent the last four years "hollowing out" Pennsylvania in many ways and that he will reinvest in education and job creation, two KEY issues for you.

The most important thing he did was say that the general election starts RIGHT NOW. This guy will go to work IMMEDIATELY hitting the ground RUNNING to take PA back from that extremely divisive TeaBagger Corbett, and I think this guy can appeal to Dems, moderate and progressive Indies, and even moderate Rs which is good in a somewhat purple state like PA. I think he needs to be ready for ANY attack, and he needs to be ready to go after Corbett HARD and also have a very strong pro job and pro education platform which he does. He has LOTS of assets of his own and will have STRONG support from the Dem party, so not even the Koch Brothers will be able to save Corbett's ass. Just don't take anything for granted, and get to work HARD on the general election campaign NOW.
