Barbara Mikulski's MD US Senate Seat (Class 3) should be the DC Suburbs seat.

Since both of the MD US Senate Seats were held by Baltimore Area US House Members (Paul Sarbanes-1977-2007,Barbara Mikulski-1987-2017,and Ben Cardin-2007-present. MD voters should elect a successor to Barbara Mikulski that comes from the DC Suburbs. Donna Edwards should be the front runner for that seat.

3. Stephanie Rawlings Blake should wait until 2018 and run for the other MD US Senate Seat.

Cardin-D who is going to be 75 years old in 2018 is likely to retire. MD will have 2 black female US Senators- 1 from DC Metro Area(Donna Edwards) and the other from Baltimore Metro Area(Stephanie Rawlings Blake).
