Hillary Clinton leads all Republican challengers in Florida by 2-8 points

Hillary Clinton has leads of 2-8 points over all of the potential GOP contenders in the
state. Rubio comes the closest at just a 48/46 deficit and Bush is down by a similar
margin at 47/44. Rand Paul trails by 4 at 46/42, Mike Huckabee's down 5 at 49/44, Chris
Christie and Ted Cruz each trail by 7 at 48/41 and 49/42 respectively, and Ben Carson
(49/41), Rick Perry (50/42), and Scott Walker (49/41) all lag Clinton by 8 points.

There is simply no realistic path to the White House for Republicans without the Sunshine State.

Hillary got my Florida primary vote last time. Even though it did not count. djean111 Mar 2015 #1
This is actually terrible news! 2 to 3 points! Is this within the Margin of Error? Liberal_Stalwart71 Mar 2015 #2

It should even be THAT close!! Then again, it's probably a meaningless poll Liberal_Stalwart71 Mar 2015 #5

Maybe. Maybe not. She is running against an argubly stronger candidate in Jeb Bush, no? Liberal_Stalwart71 Mar 2015 #18

Interesting poll, Hillary was the only Democrat on the poll. Thinkingabout Mar 2015 #9

This isn't good news for Democrats. Hillary Clinton is not unknown in Florida or anywhere else.

Florida knows her better than just about anywhere outside New York. Her numbers should be much stronger in any poll taken down there.

That's why I question the poll's methodology.

Still, even if the true number is 8 points, that's way too close for me.

Obama BARELY won it against Rmoney.

Any lead for a Democrat there is a good one.

More important, however, is that Jeb Bush seems to still be very popular in Florida unlike the present governor. I've ran into even some minorities who seem to love Bush and I can't believe my ears! People are such idiots! They are so easily led and will believe anything told to them.

Again, Jeb was and still is popular in Florida, unlike Pappy McCain and Romney.

I'm just concerned that people are being duped by this Bush guy and will buy into this "compassionate conservative," pro-immigrant, "I'm not like my dumb-ass brother" bullshit.

the demographics have changed since he was governor.

Important to keep in mind that Florida is a must for them, and a victory lap for us.

We can win without Florida, they can't.

I think Scott Walker is going to be their nominee in any event.

in Florida before she actually announces. Hardly a done deal. This will be a close election no matter who runs; 48 /52 will look like a landslide if recent elections are any indicator. And maybe not. Perhaps every woman in the country will vote for Hillary, but I sure wouldn't bet the farm on it.
