In order to have enough experience in foreign policy to be POTUS, all one has to do is (according to Republicans like esteemed outgoing Senator Richard Lugar and some foreign policy "expert" :
1. Be a Missionary (to someplace like....um...France)
2. Work for a global company (i.e. Bain)
3. Help organize the Winter Olympics
Seriously, NPR did a story on this this afternoon, concluding- according to their guests- that Romney will be able to handle foreign policy just fine if elected POTUS.

(18,541 posts)and nobody has ever asked me to run. They wouldn't. I may be sympathethetic, but I'm not one of them, and I've never suffered as they did.
Here in DC we're overrun with charter schools and all the other Republicon BS. Even though this is in her backyard, I don't expect FLOTUS to come down here and fix it. It's up to us.
