Leaked details of a plaintive phone call from President Obama to some of his biggest donors this weekend offered a rare and revealing look into the typically private rituals of big-dollar campaign fundraising.
The pitch also affirmed the campaigns anxiety about lagging behind in the money race.
In the conference call made late Friday from a special campaign phone on Air Force One, a recording of which was obtained by the Daily Beast, Obama bemoaned the anonymous super PAC donations flowing to his Republican opponent, Mitt Romney.
If things continue as they have so far, Ill be the first sitting president in modern history to be outspent in his reelection campaign, he said, according to the report.

the sidebar to the washingtonpost.com story also includes a "campaign finance explorer" that reports Obama having raised ~$400m (vs. Romney ~$120m) as of 6/20.

I think this Supreme Court will go down in history as the court that sold our democratic government to the highest bidders. The guy in Nevada that made his money in gambling and prostitution will be telling the President of the US what to do if Romney wins.
I think that instead of talking about repealing health care, we should be talking about repealing the sale of the US.
