Petition: Provide Bernie Sanders Secret Service protection immediately!

I'm old enough to remember Robert Kennedy's assassination, so recent events at Senator Bernie Sanders' campaign events -- not to mention ammosexuals' and other extremists' actions -- are making me a little uncomfortable.

Under Title 18, the Secret Service may only provide protection to major Presidential candidates within 120 days of the election.

Obama had secret service protection in May 2007.

I'm not so sure Bernie needs it (or wants it) at this point though.

I thought Jesse Jackson got early protection because of the many death threats against him. The only person with more threats was Obama.

are freaking out and think Bernie needs Secret Service protection. Really, he doesn't. If he thought he did, then he'd ask for it.

.....Bobby Kennedy was assasinated during the course of the primaries, not almost six months before the first primary.
