Very High Marks for Obama's Speech

A new CBS New poll finds that 91% of Americans who watched President Obama's State of the Union address approved of the policy proposals he put forth, while just 9% disapproved.

Caveat: "Americans who watched the speech were generally more Democratic than the nation as a whole. Forty-four percent of viewers polled were Democrats and 25% were Republicans. (Historically speaking, that is not an unusual statistic: a president's supporters are more likely than his opponents to watch State of the Union addresses.)"

1. Man, this year old poll is really fooling everyone. It's being posted all over the place.

CBS should highlight the (Jan 25, 2011) date in blinking red or something.

Or at least take a new poll for freak's sake.

It was a great speech, but this poll was not for it. LOL. This is just getting hilarious at this point.

Agreed, it's kind of funny at this point.

I also think the numbers will be even better this year if CBS decides to take a new poll.

4. Republicans are freaking out and scrambling to find anything to criticize him on this speech..

The latest is that he recycled some of this speech from last years speech. Which is completely understandable and normal for a long detailed speech like this. I am sure all Presidents have repeated some issues from previous SOTUs. They are getting very desperate because they know the President hit a home run last night.
