Poll if Biden jumps in to race

I don't know if this poll has been done yet on DU, but I am curious how the dynamic would change here if Biden jumped in. I fully support Sanders right now but I would be torn if Biden got in. My first choice would have been Elizabeth Warren but she isn't running.

1. Biden has some excellent points, especially his critical support of the LBGT cause to Obama

But this election is about whether we keep the economic system we have or do something new.

I don't think we have another chance to do it- Climate change is too far along. We need decisive and deep actions that are going to hurt the winners in the status quo. Given past performance, I can't see Biden offering that.

6. Joe Biden - Like HRC - Represents The Establishment Wing Of The Democratic Party

Otherwise he would not be considering a run.

The establishment wing of the Democratic party is apoplectic that HRC is slipping.

They need a replacement and fast.

Existing establishment is the DLC Third Way that runs the DNC and supports Oligarchs, Corporations and Banks.

Joe Biden or HRC would be more of the same.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

The evils most pernicious in this world are committed by well-meaning, good people.

Don't want Biden to run. Like Hillary, he's more of the same type of politician that have ruined DC.

I'd like to see how the field firms up before I take another look. I certainly would not rule out supporting Biden.

Here: They wouldn't. Most of the fora is already for Sanders where their fallback choice seems to be O'Malley. Biden isn't really going to take a lot of support away from either of them...least of all, Sanders.

IRL: It's probably a coup d' grace for Hillary. Biden is going to take most of his support from her, not from Sanders or O'Malley. I don't think it'll be a lot...but just 4-5% makes this a horse-race, Sanders becomes viable which will cause yet more weak support to hemorrhage from the front-runner. This bleed on top of the Biden bleed and the support Sanders has already taken from her probably makes Biden's entry a terminal event for Clinton.

The question is really "Does Biden pick up enough of that Clinton support after she drops to become the new frontrunner?" I think he knows he does not and that is why he won't run.
