While Clinton's event was open to the public, aides said that it was not meant to draw a rally-sized crowd and that Clinton was focused on holding a thoughtful discussion. Sanders’s event, which his campaign said drew more than 3,000 people, was held at a time more convenient for students.

Then why make it public? Isn't the point of a public event to get your ideas in front of as many people as possible?

Or excite them. That's why her events are so small... Even her "official announcement" in NYC was a small venue and the overflow areas were EMPTY.

But lordy she CAN bring in the $$$..... The 1% know she has their back!

She just holds these events so she can collect the checks.

Hillary gererates a ton of enthusiasm, unfortunately that enthusiasm is on the right side of the aisle, and they will be coming out to vote against her.

The only thing that the right probably hates more than Obama is Hillary, and they are frothing at the mouth to be able to get out and vote against her. Do not underestimate the amount of people that will only be voting for that reason.

I just want to get this straight. Because I don't like to be accused of lying and I am a life long Democrat. If you are sure that Bernie has never claimed to be a Socialist. Type it out right here please.

Otherwise, it isn't a talking point. It is the truth.

In the cartoon, Sanders is actually holding a "Socialist" sign, and you claim that means "he never called himself a Socialist"?

If you're thinking of making a post that dumb, just stop. It makes you look really foolish.

You're obviously trying to set it up as a smear, ignoring the fact that the cartoon already listed it as a "smear" he does not hide from.

Why, exactly, should I play the stupid game you're trying to play?

I just want Camp Weathervane to keep doing what they are doing...nothing.

Just keep her out of the public at large, keep her at her $2700 a plate Dinners with Banksters and don't forget the private, by invitation "Listening!" get togethers.

The longer she's out of sight, the better for Bernie as he is rallying Americans for real change.

Go Bernie!

As for the argument someone else made about Clinton inspiring right wingers to vote against her in the general election, that's a valid point. Clinton is extremely polarizing with a poor favorable:unfavorable ratio, and I think that has to worry folks. While there is a valid leftist critique of Clinton, there is also a completely irrational right wing hatred of all things Clinton.
