OK, it's not fun & games anymore. Just caught Santorum parroting the "culture" meme on CNN.
I've enjoyed the focus on Romney's gaffes, his obviously not ready for prime time performances, the jokes and the 'toons. All good stuff.
Yet, seeing Santorum glibly echoing the take away message - "our culture makes us better" was chilling. Realized this is actually dangerous shit. Romney played to the American extremist, right wing, Republican voting base in this overseas trip. No more nor less, save for collecting some cash along the way.
Santorum's coincidental appearance on CNN just brought it home. We're in dangerous territory this election. It's not political fun & games anymore.
