Wow, Jen Palmieri on Andrea Mitchell

She's Clinton's communications director... and she was just awful...

She had trouble talking, let alone communicating an idea clearly about the campaign.

Mitchell led in with the SNL skit about Clinton "welcoming" Biden to campaign... and Palmieri appeared rattled by it.

Really not a good interview for the Clinton camp...

She's got a tough job, so I can't blame her. Being a comms director for a Presidential campaign is highly stressful, add to the fact that everything you say will be parsed by the media and its a scary thing. You can tell by her mannerisms and speech that she's extremely anxious, as someone who has a bit of social anxiety I noticed it right away.

I feel like I could communicate something very well in writing, but if you threw me up in front of a camera I'd probably just black out and freeze; I have lots of respect for people who can get up in front of a camera and articulate ideas fluently and clearly.

That being said, perhaps the Clinton camp should put someone else in front of the TV cameras and let Jen handle the other stuff.
