Having endured the start of the GOP convention, Esquire's Charles Pierce unleashes a furious screed on the Republican search for "the Event Horizon of utter bullshit." They have sought, he says, "to see precisely how many lies, evasions, elisions, and undigestible chunks of utter gobbledegook the political media can swallow before it finally gags twice and falls over dead."
