Question about Chris Van Hollen

I'm always very impressed by this guy when I see him on TV. He is extremely well-spoken and clearly an intelligent guy. Why hasn't he ever been considered a Presidential hopeful? Does he have skeletons in his closet or something?

He will be "playing" Paul Ryan for VP Biden to practice debating. He is on the House Budget Committee.

is the fact that he is friends with Ryan and isn't afraid to call him a liar on TV. Ryan has been lying his ass off on topics like Medicare and Van Hollen repeatedly calls him out on it. Van Hollen knows everything about the guy because he has seen Ryan's shenanigans in the House over the years.

but then I found out he was a Dem and I heard him speak. I've been loving him ever since...I must say MD sure has good looking men...
