Dems blew a major "teaching moment" re "god" in the platform

they could have pointed out that the Democratic Platform does not have any mention of the word "god", just like the US Constitution.

I would have LOVED it when the "fact checkers" all confirmed that the Constitution -including the Bill of Rights and all subsequent Amendments - have absolutely no mention of "god" or "creator", etc.

That would have been a huge eye opener / cognitive dissonance creator for many conservatives, who believe the Founding Fathers received the constitution directly from god.
