Just Gave
I just gave my first but not last contribution to our President this election cycle. I live in Texas and in a county that is so red it bleeds. What else can I do to help make sure President Obama is re-elected. We have only one Democrat running in our city or county in the fall. I have signs up, talk up our Senatorial candidate but Texas which will be blue in the next 20 years (it really will you can't ignore our demographics) is pretty much a lost cause right now for progressive politics.
By the way I have been asked twice in the last two weeks how I could be a Christian and vote Democratic. My reply, is that that is what Jesus would do.
