The Hill: "Romney losing lead among men"

The below article cites polls done by CNN, ABC/WP, and PPP all showing that Pres. Obama has moved into the lead among male voters. In the CNN poll taken just a week before, Romney had a 12-point lead among men.

Mitt Romney’s advantage among male voters has all but disappeared since the Democratic National Convention. The pattern will likely spell doom for Romney unless it represents an entirely transient “bump” for President Obama — which it might.

Several polls released in recent days show Obama displaying new strength among male voters. Romney needs to win the male electorate by a wide margin to overcome the chronic disadvantage the GOP faces with respect to women.

In a memo accompanying the poll’s release, its authors, Langer Research Associates, noted that “Obama’s support has reached a new high among men” — higher than at any point during this election cycle.

“If that holds, there’s no way Romney can win,” said Bob Shrum, the longtime Democratic strategist who ran Sen. John Kerry’s (D-Mass.) 2004 bid for the White House.

Interested but undecided voters will watch and one or two witty comments can make the difference in the election.

Obama should have the edge.

The debates make me nervous. I know Obama has the truth on his side. However, delivery makes a difference . He has not debated in a long time. He likes to give long, thoughtful answers. I guess I'm saying that he needs to simply what he wants to say in a short answer. I think he will shine in the town hall debate. However, he needs to win the first debate.

Do you honestly believe that mitt has the chance of a snowball in hell? Stop the handwringing... It's going to make me almost feel sorry for rmoney. Trust me, mitt can't even begin to debate Obama when he can't even remember one lie from another.

in 2008, when he debated Hillary. Who is tougher Mitt with no plans or Hillary?

Unfortunately, if Mitt does ok, people will take that into account. I just don't see how he can debate when he doesn't have any real plans or objectives. He changes position every time he opens his mouth. The reason why reasonable people who haven't decide yet haven't made up their minds is because they are unhappy about the present state in the country, and frankly unless u are a Koch brother, then u can't really be satisfied with where we are yet.

The DNC showed what has been done and the work yet to be completed. Mitt is making mistakes left and right. Even Dave Letterman picks at the man. And as more people hear about Paul Ryan and his coupon Medicare plan, they don't like it. I wish the Dems would stop saying voucher and call it a coupon. That is so much MoRE relatable to the voters than "voucher". Everyone understands coupon. A discount on private healthcare elderly would have to use for the open market... And we all know how God awful insurance companies already are.

Plus he has to dance around the whole secret plan thing, a poor cover-up for not having a plan.

Like $10k is a little rich for a bet. But I will wager you 4 years of vegetables from our garden. Or a donation to a veterans group.

7. Men vs. Women

One of the things about elections is that it answers the question as to who is smarter.

And from looking at voting and polling, it's pretty clear that the answer is Women. More women vote Democratic and more men vote Republican.

It's discouraging how many stupid men there still are out there.

If I don't hear from him again, I'd be happier since the guy only knows how to lose elections.
