Only 23% of Independents think that Hillary Clinton is honest and trustworthy

72% don't think that she is honest and trustworthy.

So much for being able to get people in the center. Doesn't look good in being able to get battleground states.

Other interesting findings:

Only 44% of women think that Hillary is honest and trustworthy.

2. She can't win in a GE with numbers like that

All you have to do is listen to right-wing radio to understand that she is despised by the right. They will stand in line for days just to vote against her, even if the Republican opponent is a ping-pong ball.

Half of our party would be thrown into a deep, dark depression if she was our nominee.

And of course, there's the Independents who overwhelmingly don't trust her or think that she's honest.

It's a trifecta of bad juju that will surely usher in a Republican president and a Republican-dominated House and Senate.

The answer is simple. Vote for Bernie. Independents like him. In Iowa, according to Ann Selzer's Iowa poll, he is appealing to many Independents who say they will vote for Sanders. Sanders even appeals to some conservatives. And of course, the Dem base and younger voters will turn out in droves to vote for Sanders.

It's not even debatable. Sanders is the most electable.

Why the DNC doesn't want to see that is beyond me. It's almost as if they don't care.

6. My main problem with Hillary besides her being a corporate shill.

Is that I think she will be a jingoist just to prove that a woman President can be tough.

I don't trust her to do what is the best for the country. Bernie is the only one of all the candidates that seems to want to do what will improve America rather than serve a few. Of course Congress is way off track as well. They stymied Obama who is only a bit more savvy than Jimmy Carter as to the way of Washington politics. Obama wasted his first 4 years trying to get along with a bunch of Repugs that had no desire to get along, and anyone with angstrom of acumen could see it.

8. Interesting that sense that all independents are in the 'center'

I don't get that feeling from the few independents I know. The independents I know mostly seem less willing to simply toe a party-line and defend that as an innate goodness of their positioning.

Sigh... most of the independents that I know are pretty left of center. Including myself as I only registered as a Dem to vote for Bernie. ANd you're right - we don't toe ANY party line.

Not many Non-Whites surveyed,

Wonder what this would look like if more non-whites were polled?
