(582 posts)There are a lot of people who believe as this congress-critter does. The founder of Planned Parenthood was also involved with the eugenics movement, which here in the US seemed to be focused on blacks. Not that the basic philosophy was not racist, but as it was practiced in the South is was racist. However, Planned Parenthood had nothing to do with that movement.
This is like those crazed people who tell me Hitler was a socialist and they can prove it because the word Socialism is part of the acronym NAZI

(667 posts)who is one of the sweetest people in the world that told me about a film she had seen at her church all about how racist Planned Parenthood was. (She grew up with little or nothing and has always volunteered at her church). She pays no attention to politics but is the type who takes everything to heart. Anyhow, she was going on about this film she had seen which she said was called Mafia 21 or something like that and that she was appalled at how Planned Parenthood was a racist organization. I more or less told her I didn't think that sounded right and left it at that.
Later I went to look for what she had been so upset about. Turns out the film was actually called Maafa 21. Below is a link to what I found. Has anyone else run across this?

I would bet this has been shown at other churches.
