How can Romney claim that we should have done more in Libya?

On NPR right now Mitt Romney's foreign policy advisor is claiming that we should have been more involved in nation building in Libya after Khaddafi was gone. Except that Romney wrote an op-ed specifically objecting to "mission creep", and was only in favor of enforcing a no-fly zone. Romney said, "I support that specific, limited mission." I was really hoping that the interviewer would call him on his revisionist history.

for the likes of FOX News and Rush Limbaugh. These are the folks talking, it just looks like Mitt is speaking because his lips are moving.

Well, I guess, until we invaded Iraq and overthrew Saddam and then looting.......er....I mean, "nation building" was cool for them. I suppose that if President Obama had argued for troops and money to help rebuild Libya following Ghaddafi's overthrow, the Rethugs would've given it to him right? Romney would've been out there supporting President Obama about it? As I recall, Rethugs in the House were very close to voting to pull funding for our efforts in Libya because they didn't feel that they had been consulted enough.
