Gov. Mitt Romney meets a medical marijuana patient

Clayton Holton of Granite Staters for Medical Marijuana asks Gov. Mitt Romney if he will have seriously ill patients like himself arrested for using medical marijuana with their doctor's approval. Gov. Romney doesn't answer the question and turns his back on Clayton.

Callous, dismissive & phony?

Appears unsympathetic.

And it looks like he gives a smirk with Ann standing back in the shadows.

What are your thoughts?

I think the DNC should use encounters like this in their ads. It may allow the public to relate to the ordinary people in them and the way they could picture themselves being treated by Mitt Romney in a similar situation.

Could be an effective way of illuminating Romney's character. Might attract more attention than ads on things like Bain Capital, tax returns etc. Those ads can be effective too, but things like this are genuine encounters with ordinary voters that show how little he cares about their feelings.

When the man mentions that he served in Vietnam, Mittens says that that's when he chose to go to France and do his missionary work.

Uh huh.

Towards someone who is suffering and that he walks off and refuses to understand what he is going through.

And many Democrats do support medical marijuana, as do a large segment of the American public.

It's time it becomes official DNC policy too.

The only person who nailed it, Is Ron Paul. Hillary Clinton just tells him she will look into it.

Yes it does show he is lacking in humanity, And I believe medical marijuana should be available for those who need it. I personally don't see why marijuana is illegal at all.

however unless the DNC is ready to take it that up as a platform issue, I don't think they can use that video but, I could be wrong
