They're going after Planned Parenthood

The young man behind two undercover videos targeting Planned Parenthood seemed to come out of nowhere. No one had heard of David Daleiden, or his non-profit, the Center for Medical Progress, when he first accused the health care provider of illegally selling aborted fetal baby parts last week. But in fact, the 26-year-old has been helping to create similar sting videos for years and has ties to larger well-known groups that oppose abortion.

snip:

In a letter to Congress, Planned Parenthood complains that it is once again the victim of "a group of extremists who have intimidated women and doctors for years — in their agenda to ban abortion completely."

The videos have surfaced just as Congress is debating next year's budget. Leaders in both the House and Senate have said they expect to see amendments that revive longtime calls to defund Planned Parenthood.

And by the admission of apology, come across as complicit in what they're being accused of. Their response is doing them no favors.

It is a serious issue, in which PP unfortunately gives the appearance of handling in a cavalier manner.

They ought to tell these lying parasites and grifters to go f*ck themselves! and shove their heavily-edited videos right up their keisters.

PPFA doesn't offer trainings to affil. staff -- and esp. doctors -- to be extremely careful in giving out interviews that could possibly be taped and to be careful with the clinical details of an actual procedure. To make sure that the public understands that there is no such thing as "partial birth abortion" and get out the actual statistics about when abortions take place in this country, which is about 9 weeks, overwhelmingly. AND, to point out that no other single organization in this country PREVENTS abortion more than PP.

How Planned Parenthood controversy killed a US veterans fertility bill:

The Women Veterans and Families Health Services Act of 2015, introduced by Senator Murray last February, is a bipartisan bill that offers "fertility treatment and counseling, including through the use of assisted reproductive technology, to a spouse, partner, or gestational surrogate of a severely wounded, ill, or injured member of the Armed Forces who has an infertility condition incurred or aggravated while serving on active duty in the Armed Forces."
