My name is Tanya and I'm a nurse in Toronto. My political leanings are liberal and social democrat. I joined DU because I wanted to engage with people who have somewhat of the same beliefs as me and if we don't agree we can politely discuss our differences. I also like DU because it's reassuring to see Amerlcans who are so self-aware and knowledgeable about the world around us. I apologize if that is insulting, I certainly don't mean to be. Anyway, I very excited to start some conversation!
