Did you ever see a comedian who used her tuba as part of her "stand-up" ("sit-down" in her case). MiddleFingerMom May 2012 #5

That thing is enormous. And, it was normally the smallest kids that played. My advice to any young aspiring musicians...play the harmonica, it fits in yer pocket. Besides, the world needs more harmonica players.

"Youth is wasted on the young" or something. We get old and have all the knowledge we needed when we were young, but none of the energy.

I played the violin for two years. I sucked really, really bad.

Kinda funny. really. His sister practices for the church choir and she goes quite a while as well, and then wears out. So much better than anything made with electricity, as it never runs out of energy. It's like the movie Rear Window without any murdering. So far, anyway.

She ended her set by pointing out that the tuba, with its incredible vibrations, was nestled between
her thighs and she went pretty much writhing/orgasmic on something like "Flight of the Bumblebee".
.
I looked for more from her for a LONG time, but I guess she was a one-trick pony. This had to be 20
years ago or more.

Years ago, when I was an undergrad, the music school had its practice rooms on the same floor as the computer lab I usually worked in. There was always something surreal about debugging code at 1 am while someone was practicing the tuba. I went to a recital once, where all of the works were solo/small ensemble pieces for the tuba, written by student composers at the behest of some tuba major who needed rep for his degree recital. It was actually very good if a bit odd.

I will surely do that but, fair warning, I am too old to look good in that style of swimwear so won't be doing any purchasing.
