It's really unnecessary as I rarely posted replies in this group and, sadly, blocking me like so many others have been blocked isn't going to result in more productive discussion.

I do love that you're here, as I said, because it must reduce the frustration of having to constantly defend your points of view, which I respect.

I just wish it was a reciprocal respect.

ciao.

Original Subject Line and reply:

Other notable features about Hawaii.

It's a zillion miles away from the mainland.

It sits atop volcanoes.

Most of its electricity comes from burning petroleum.

It only became a state because imperialistic America needed it's strategic location.

Most of the private property isn't owned by US citizens. (I think, I might be wrong)

Authorized US citizens may bring to the islands authorized sidearms, and they may use them when they arrive, and alternatively may be issued firearms, sidearms and others, under certain circumstances.

Just some facts.

ETA some GOOD facts: I think Hawaii exhibits a ton of social features we ought to follow, including a very laid back attitude and fashion sense, and just plain congeniality. I think that their gun laws are sensible and laudable, I have no problem with them and wonder why the attention.

And I have to wonder if this post is at all associated with your now-hidden reply in the Hawaii forum.

To Robb and other hosts of this forum, I love that you're here, thanks!

3. Dear billh58, ya live in Delaware, not in Hawaii. Transparency and honesty, good things.

You have visited Maui, Oahu, and what we call the big island.

Thank you for playing, and have a nice day.

I've been there too many times without really absorbing the facts.

I am aware of the county jurisdictions, that's part of my job.

And, thank you, I always enjoy my work and doubly so in the islands!

6. Robb, I apologize

for contributing to sliming this place up, and if you want, please delete this thread. I can re-post the Hawaii gun laws now that the disrupter is gone.
