Hi, Strangers... (also a Raju update) :)

The last year has kicked my butt, but I'm trying to emerge from the rubble. I'm going to try to start posting uplifting stuff here again, especially since I see Hermite's butt has been kicked, too (big hugs to you, my friend, if you see this), and she isn't able to post.

Lots of gratitude to those of you keeping hope alive.

BTW, as part of my emergence from the rubble, I'm finally getting several of the puzzle pieces of a vision I've been working toward for years up and running. One of them is Community Good, a digital magazine with curated and original content highlighting good news from around the world; your "local good" is coming soon. Good news, good projects, good ideas, good people.

I'm posting things there, and distributing across social media. Like the update below on Raju the elephant. (Notice how at the end of the article I added a listing for Wildlife SOS India, the group who rescued Raju, to the Find Help|Find Good Directory, the second puzzle piece; Wishadoo!'s upgrade and reconfiguration is next. See how symbiotic those two pieces of the puzzle are? Nice, neat, organized GOOD.) It's too time consuming to recreate the posts here, so if it bothers anyone that I give a preview and then a link to the post at Community Good, just let me know.

I'm sure many have endured ups and downs over the last year or so, and I know we lost people altogether. All I can say is godspeed to us all.....

THE GOOD NEWS is that Raju has now been free for one week. He has been introduced to Phoolkali, the first member of what will be his new elephant family. The two met for the first time and enjoyed a meal together. Eventually they will run free within the conservation area and become a herd.

Thank you for the warm welcome. You just gave me warm fuzzies.

And thank you for the kind words. I'm really excited about it. Some of you know about my journey with Wishadoo!; I've had to put that on hold until I can get funding and then get help, as it simply overwhelmed me trying to do it alone. In the process of my own crises, and while putting that on hold, I've diligently tried to build the other puzzle pieces making up the bigger vision called Our Good.

When I get the portal page ready, I'll be sure to share. People will be able to click a puzzle piece to determine if they want to visit Wishadoo!, Community Good, or the Find Help|Find Good Directory.

When all of these elements are ready, I'm going to try to find support/funding in order to move forward with more ease. At least the people I approach will be able to see how they all work, and how they work together, rather than propose a hypothetical.

Slowly but surely.

going through a crisis, I hope things are better now.

I'm sure all the positive energy you out out into the world will come back to you

I can't wait until your portal is ready - I hope you use DU as your test lab so we can all help!
