Just opened a package from Amazon, and tonight...

I'm going to binge watch 3 Doris Day/Rock Hudson comedies from my high school days:

Send Me No Flowers
Pillow Talk
Lover Come Back

I haven't seen any of them since I saw them in the theater when they were first released. Memory tells me Send Me No Flowers was the one I liked best of the three, but I guess I'll find out how good my memory is.

What's your favorite romantic comedies from the 50s and 60s?

I try every time to keep track of where the matching pieces of luggage are, and every time I fail. hehe.

Not only the story line but also what happened to Connie Francis afterward.

Also remember the episode on Dr Kildare with Yvette Mimieux having some sort of epileptic thing going in and committing suicide by walking into ocean.

And it co stars Tony Randall?

If it is, I've seen it several times on TV. It's hilarious!

I love '60s comedies

Enjoy!

Man's Favorite Sport. Big city sporting goods salesman (Rock Hudson) passes himself off as a fishing expert until he gets invited to an actual fishing tournament and doesn't know which end of the rod to hold. Paula Prentiss comes to his rescue and tries to teach him how to fish. Hilarity ensues.

And one I can't remember the title of about a slick advertising exec who was competing with the leading lady (maybe Doris Day, maybe Debbie Reynolds. I don't recall) and they were trying to sell something call "Vim" which wasn't even a real product. I'm kind of vague on the details, but I remember laughing out loud in the theater all those 50 years ago.
